Cut the Rope: Magic

A stolen piece of candy has somehow escalated into a full-blown magical crisis, and honestly, that feels very on brand for Om Nom. This charming physics puzzle game whisks everyone's favourite little green monster into an enchanted world where a mischievous sorcerer is causing trouble, and you'll need both timing and strategy to get those sweets where they belong. If you loved the original Cut the Rope, Angry Birds, or even the satisfyingly clever chain reactions of games like Where's My Water?, you'll immediately settle into the familiar rhythm, but this version adds a fantasy twist with magical transformations that change how Om Nom interacts with each level. Across more than 160 stages, you'll cut ropes at exactly the right moment, pop bubbles, activate blowers, dodge traps, and experiment with different solutions to grab every star along the way. Some puzzles seem simple at first, then quietly reveal themselves to be tiny physics experiments disguised as candy delivery systems. Whether you're playing on your phone by swiping through ropes or using a mouse on desktop, the controls are wonderfully straightforward, leaving your brain free to wrestle with increasingly devious challenges. It's the kind of game that's easy to pick up for five minutes and then suddenly you've spent half an hour trying to perfect one stubborn level. Fun fact: the word 'magic' comes from the ancient Greek word 'mageia' (mah-GEH-ah), which referred to mysterious arts and wisdom associated with Persian scholars thousands of years ago. Thankfully, your own magical studies here mostly involve preventing candy from flying into walls. Cute, colourful, and surprisingly clever, this is one of those puzzle games that manages to stay relaxing while still giving your brain a very respectable workout.
