Haunted House Idle
Created by: Blip Tech
Running a haunted attraction sounds glamorous until you realize somebody has to actually get all those screaming visitors through the door, and apparently that somebody is you. This colorful 3D idle management game puts you in charge of a growing haunted house where visitors pay to experience creepy shadows, chasing clowns, rotating bridges, dangerous lasers, slime monsters, photo areas, mask shops, and other wonderfully questionable entertainment choices. Move your character around the attraction using WASD, the arrow keys, or drag controls, then guide guests through the various spooky experiences while collecting cash and unlocking new areas. As your haunted business grows, you can upgrade your character to improve movement speed and carrying capacity, hire helpers to take some of the work off your hands, and automate attractions so the money keeps rolling in while you concentrate on expanding the operation. Completing tasks gives you more ways to progress, and each new upgrade helps turn a modest haunted house into a much larger spooky entertainment empire. There is a satisfying mix of idle game progression and hands-on arcade management here, so it feels a little like running a tiny theme park after everyone has gone home and the safety inspector has mysteriously disappeared. Fans of tycoon games, idle games, simulation games, and Halloween-themed adventures may also enjoy the cheerful chaos, especially if games like Theme Park or RollerCoaster Tycoon appeal to your inner organizer, while the goofy monsters and colorful presentation keep things closer to family-friendly spooky fun than serious horror. And despite all the ghosts and creepy clowns, the real-world history of haunted attractions is surprisingly theatrical: Disneyland's Haunted Mansion opened in 1969 and helped popularize the elaborate, ride-based haunted attraction as a mainstream form of entertainment. Keep upgrading, unlocking, hiring, and collecting until your little spooky attraction becomes a surprisingly efficient machine for turning frightened visitors into cold, hard cash.
