Alien Intelligence Test
Created by: Maksim Popov
The good news is you’ve been chosen for contact by intelligent life; the bad news is they’re not convinced you’re intelligent yet. This pixel-perfect little gem throws you aboard an alien testing chamber where every level is a new mystery wrapped in green-on-black nostalgia; think classic DOS terminals meets escape room brainteasers. The top half of the screen shows the puzzle at hand, while the bottom half hands you an adorably cryptic control panel of blinking buttons, dials, switches, and levers, none of which are labeled in any human language. Your job? Poke around until you crack the logic. Whether you’re trying to gently land a spaceship, suck up planets with a mini black hole, or drop alien eggs into perfect grid patterns, the only thing guiding you is trial, error, and intuition. It's like Myst had a pixelated baby with a Simon Says machine, and it’s up to you to impress your captors before they lose patience. Bonus points for the delightfully retro bloops and bleeps and the fact that absolutely nothing is explained, because, as we all know, real intelligence reveals itself under pressure. Fun fact: the Voynich Manuscript, an actual centuries-old book written in an unknown language and undeciphered to this day, has baffled even AI, proving aliens might not be the only ones throwing down intelligence tests.
