And yes, the chinchilla is adorable, but there is a genuinely neat reason those tiny ears and enormous fluffy coats look the way they do: chinchillas are native to the cold Andes of South America, where their exceptionally dense fur helps keep them warm, with their coats reportedly growing around 50 hairs from a single follicle. So while your furry passenger may look like she belongs in a woodland storybook, she is actually built for considerably harsher real-world terrain. Rotate carefully, collect the snacks, connect the trail, and get the little traveler safely home without overthinking it, although overthinking is obviously part of the puzzle genre's unofficial rules.
