Trick Or Treat Candy Carnival

Created by: Mapi Games
Halloween night has brought out the ghosts, goblins and candy enthusiasts, and apparently they have organized an entire carnival just for you. This colorful collection of Halloween mini-games brings together seven different activities, each with its own little challenge and plenty of purple moonlight, cheeky monsters and suspiciously enthusiastic ghosts. Join Count Boo and his collection of supernatural pals for a playful assortment of puzzles, matching games and arcade-style fun that feels a little like a Halloween version of the mini-game collections we used to find on family computer games. Start by popping floating ghosts in Ghost Bash, where quick fingers and good timing come in handy, or switch to the jigsaw puzzles and piece together 24 different cartoon pictures. You can choose from four puzzle difficulties, with 4, 9, 16 or 25 interlocking pieces, making this a nice option whether you fancy a quick brain teaser or something that requires a little more concentration. Prefer a memory challenge? The matching game asks you to find matching pairs, while Shadow Match puts your observation skills to work as you figure out which spooky character belongs to each mysterious silhouette. There is also an alphabet activity featuring talking letters, a candy-catching game where you need to collect falling sweets before they reach the stars, and a monster-face matching challenge that rewards a good eye for patterns. Think a cheerful mash-up of Halloween-themed memory games, Highlights-style picture puzzles and the kind of colorful mini-game collections that made old-school casual gaming so entertaining. The different activities offer a choice between gentler play and more challenging sessions, so you can take things at your own pace rather than having every little ghost turn into a competitive sporting event. As you play, collect candy to unlock four different baskets and work towards completing your collection of 24 cartoon characters. The artwork is wonderfully over-the-top, with grinning pumpkins, candy-filled baskets, bats, cauldrons and friendly monsters lurking around practically every corner. And here's a little Halloween history to enjoy while you're hunting for sweets: the original jack-o'-lanterns were traditionally carved from turnips and other root vegetables in Ireland and Scotland, long before pumpkins became the familiar Halloween decoration in North America. Apparently, pumpkins simply make better candy-loving cartoon characters. Whether you're in the mood for a quick ghost-popping session, a satisfying jigsaw puzzle, a memory workout or a little Halloween alphabet practice, this charming carnival has several ways to keep you entertained. No costume required, although a respectable supply of imaginary candy is highly recommended.
